Custom BDF, FON, AFP, Xerox Metacode, XES and FNT fonts can
also be created with the Developer's License and one year of support.
Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code Barcode Font Info:
The Royal Mail 4-State
Customer Code (RM4SCC) was created for automated mail sortation processes
and is normally used to print the postcode and Delivery Point Suffix (DPS)
on letters in machine readable format.
The RM4SCC fonts are used to print the 4-State Customer Code barcodes for automated mail sortation and
addressing in the UK. The RM4SCC 4 State
barcode fonts also implement KIX codes as used by the Dutch PTT for bulk mail
addressing. 4-State barcode fonts are also used in several other
places including Singapore, Australia and the Netherlands.
The Royal Mail 4-State
Customer Code (RM4SCC) is based on 36 barcodes representing alphanumeric
characters (0-9, A-Z), as well as start and stop bar characters which are
represented by ( and ).
The 4-CB (four-state Customer Barcode) is a height-modulated barcode
designed for use in high speed, automated, mail sortation machines that
allow both the PLANET Code and POSTNET barcode information to be combined
into a single barcode to track mailings, request address-quality services
(including updated address-change information) and return-mail service.
The TrueType version of the Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code bar code font is
compatible with all versions of Windows including
3.1, 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP.
Although Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code fonts are scaleable, they were
designed to be printed at 12 points. The Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code barcode
symbols also meet Royal Mail specification tolerances when printed at 11
or 13 points. The following is sample code from

To help users integrate RM4SCC barcodes into their applications, we
provide MS Office Macros for
Excel and Access, LotusScript,
ActiveX
DLLs for development platforms that support ActiveX technology,
Crystal
Reports User Function Libraries (UFLs) and a
check
digit calculation application with Visual Basic source code as a
free download for programmers and technical users. The DLLs, macros, UFLs
and VB code provided automatically format the start, stop and check
characters to our RM4SCC barcode font.
The Royal Mail 4-State Customer Code bar code font package includes
one TrueType version, one OpenType version and two PostScript versions
of the Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code Postal bar code font. The PostScript Royal Mail 4
State Customer Code bar code font can be used in Unix systems
and may be directly downloaded into PostScript printers.
Binary and ASCII versions are provided.
TrueType fonts are supplied in PC and Macintosh format. The TrueType TTF
fonts are compatible with Macintosh OS X and all versions of Microsoft
Windows, including Pocket PC.
With the purchase of a Developer License and a 1 year subscription of
the Priority Support
and Upgrade, we can convert fonts from this package to PCL 4, Xerox
Metacode, XES, FNT, BDF, FON and AFP.
The Developer License also grants you the right to convert our fonts to
other formats as necessary including TrueDoc and OpenType.
