Index counter is primarily designed for the document imaging bureau that indexes the tif image files directly with a unique filename and then needs to charge the customer per 1,000 keystrokes for the indexing performed. Index counter will walk through all subdirectories from a starting point looking at each tif image file and giving a total keystrokes count for the whole job contained within one folder hierarchy. Also count keystrokes for *.txt *.jpg *.gif and *.* (user selectable). Very fast, and more importantly gives accurate data in order for you to invoice your customer with confidence.
