Personal Timeclock
Personal Timeclock helps you keep track of the time you spend on your computer, or time you spend for your clients. Runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and later.
Personal Timeclock (formerly PC-TimeClock) is a timesheet or punch clock system that helps you keep track of the time you've spent on your computer. It can also help with client billing. It consists of three programs:

  • Personal Timeclock
    A timeclock that records the time you spend on different projects. It is very easy to use--when you start working on a project, just click the name of that project with the mouse.

  • Personal Timeclock Reporter
    Creates reports from the data recorded by the timeclock. Reports can summarize your time or list the details of individual sessions. You can customize the report format, and choose to report all of the data or only some of it. You can also export reports to tab-delimited text files and then import them into spreadsheets, databases, or other applications.

  • Security Editor
    For use with several employees, the security editor lets you disable features that might allow the employees to alter their time.

    What's New in 4.3:
  • There is a new function that automatically backs up your log file (added to version 4.3a).
  • The help file has been completely revised, has a new expanded index, and includes many new screen images with graphic step-by-step instructions and tips. A PDF version of the help file is now available for those who prefer a printed manual to online help. And there is now an HTML version of the help file for those who prefer the newer HTML help style (with the attached table of contents) over the classic Windows help style.
  • You can now specify whether or not to ask for a memo on each individual project and category.
  • Each project and category can have an hourly rate assigned to it.
  • You can now enter either a checkout time or a duration in the Offline Checkin screen.
  • The Add/delete/change Categories and Projects screen, and the Hide/Show Projects screen can now be used even when you're checked into a project.
  • You can now hide and show projects from the Add/delete/change Categories and Projects screen.
  • Memos are now remembered for each individual project.
  • A new menu entry, Reload project list, rereads the project list. This is useful in multi-user environments after someone has modified the list.
  • When entering a memo or a note, you can now choose whether the Enter key starts a new line in the memo or closes the screen.
  • The time of day in reports can now be shown with or without seconds.
  • Detail reports can now show the rate for a session and the amount (rate times duration).
  • Summary reports can now show the total amount and average rate.
  • You can now select entries to be included on a report by rate and amount in addition to hours (duration), and you can create more sophisticated selection criteria.
