Snapper
Snapper scans a disk or folder, creating a "snapshot" of the dates, times, sizes and other properties of the files it finds. This snapshot can be saved, and used to produce reports of changes that are subsequently made to those files.

This snapshot can be saved, and used to produce reports of changes that are subsequently made to those files. Snapshots don't have to be created from the same source, you can compare a hard-disk with a CD or a server volume with a Zip disk.

The familiar Explorer-style interface is easy to use and the results are easy to see

Missing files, modified files, and folders containing changes are all colour-coded

You can choose to display only those files that are new, or changed, and you can see all files in subfolders

Scroll down the list of files and the other snapshot scrolls too, allowing you to see exactly what changed.
