Starships Unlimited is a fast-paced game of space exploration and galactic warfare. The demo limits play to one replayable game (small galaxy, one opponent, limited tech tree) of 500 years.
A strategy game of galactic conquest like no other
Unlike most other space games of galactic conquest, Starships Unlimited focuses on a small number of starships. Each starship can be unique, with different crew mixes and equipment aboard. Your starships will evolve with the new technologies and requirements of the time. In this way, they act as your heroes, boldly battling the unknown and helping expand your people to new worlds. Ever dream of exploring the galaxy? Well, this space strategy game provides you with a near limitless number to explore. From small 50 star spirals to large 150 star clustered galaxies. What would you put in your starships? With Starships Unlimited, you have nearly 200 technologies to play with. Everything from shields to cloaking devices to death rays. Why not outfit a fleet of starships, from scouts to cruisers. Send them on missions to explore the galaxy, defend your space or attack your enemies. How would starship combat look? Pretty fluid, with starships constantly maneuvering to get their weapons to bear. In fact, the game was designed around it. Let your starship captains fight for you or do it yourself. Take control of maneuvering, weapons and energy reserves management. Are there any aliens out there? Well, you'll meet at least ten of them in Starships Unlimited. Heck, you can even play as one of them. Compete for control of the galaxy.
