WordForce – complete web based courses from MS Word - directly on the Internet!
E-learningforce Inc. (www.elearningforce.dk) has released WordForce - an add-on which enables Word to produce complete web sites from an ordinary Word document, and you can even add quizzes using many different question types. A feature, that will improve learning.
In real life this means, that after finishing writing your Word document – doing formatting as usual – you click a button and will have:
• Menu in several levels
• Search field (search results are highlighted!)
• Keywords
• Quizzes and question
• SCORM tracking
• Export to web, LMS’s or pc

Today every PC user who surfs the internet sees HTML pages and HTML forms with various HTML controls- ranging from checkboxes to combo-boxes (HTML drop down lists) to HTML radio-buttons.
And today many an educator wonders just how much more fun and how much more interactive their courses would be - if only one could use HTML elements to put interactive quizzes and questions – so:

What if your HTML courses had fill-in-the-blank questions where learners attempt to fill in the blanks by typing their answers into HTML text fields and clicking a button to see if their guesses were correct?
What if fill-in-the-blank questions mentioned above had HTML drop-down lists with possible answers for each blank arranged in a random order for the learner to select from and submit?
What if there were multiple response questions where a user can use HTML check-boxes to select from one or more correct answers?
Couldn’t HTML radio buttons be used for multiple choice questions where a user can select one correct answer of a set of answers?
What about matching drop-down questions? Where a user can answer a question which says “match-the-following” by matching choices in Column-A with possibly correct answers chosen from drop-down lists in Column-B?
What about video, sound and Flash movies? How easy or difficult would it be to insert them into your course and how to copy them to your website?
How good would your 100-page printed material look if you could use some flashy JavaScript controls to publish an index, a search and a table of contents?
And finally… what if you could apply a theme and a colour scheme site-wide… what if you could consistently plan and change the look and feel of your 100-pages of course material ?

These are the questions we delved into when we designed and developed WordForce!
WordForce helps you do all of the above - and best of all, not only does WordForce automate the tasks above, but also allows you to edit, format and create course-material in a familiar word-processing software like Microsoft Word.
Do you wish to translate the button label text is this done very easy in the setup in WordForce. You just list your choice of label text in your own language and the whole web site will show button labels in your language.
All web standards are implemented. You can even chose to publish the web site directly into a LMS like Blackboard, WebCT, Moodle, Fronter and others – or just export a SCORM package or a web site for the student’s computer.
